Did you have to wait long for a table? Was their food not quite what they were expecting when it arrived? If they seem unfazed at all these little inconveniences, it’s a positive sign that they aren’t going to give you any drama during the date. And, of course, if they don’t give you drama, that’s a really good indicator that there could be a second date.
7. The date went longer than expected
If either of you are bored or quickly realize that the date isn’t going anywhere, there’s a natural tendency to want to wrap things up. This could mean declining dessert or a post-meal coffee. On the other hand, if you both are feeling great and have a desire to extend the date — perhaps by adding more activities into the plans — it was definitely a good date.
